I've had couple of other gtalk apps on my iphone and this one is definitely my favorite atm.
Pretty solid 1.0 release.

It seems that an app such as this would have been wrapped up and offered as an Apple "designed" communication feature and packaged with every iPod Touch and iPhone iteration from the outset. The developer has created an application that for a 1.0 version is close to perfection. A "clean-up" upgrade culminating lastly in to a 2.0 version, would be all the program needs to warrant a 5-Star rating. Unless the underlying technology changes drastically; any further development beyond a solid 2.x version would likely involve unnecessary "bloat," that has decreased the value (and rating) of many a fine program that was previously easy-to-use, did exactly what it was originally intended to do, and did it with rock-solid reliability!
